MS RED - Why REMEMBRANCE is so important to us:

Lindfield War Memorial, Lindfield Village, West Sussex.

MS RED will always support the events and fundraising activities of the Royal British Legion (RBL), the organisation which has been the 'custodian of Remembrance' since its formation in 1921. MS RED is in no way affiliated to any other organisation, inclusive of the Royal British Legion, however, we will strive to support their fantastic work (through donations raised at our events) to assist the RBL to provide counselling, medical, financial, welfare and respite support services to the people of Sussex and the United Kingdom.

At every event arranged and delivered by MS RED there will be an act of Remembrance.

MS RED believe that Remembrance is a very personal matter, on both a community and individual level. We support the Remembrance of the fallen, the physically & mentally wounded, their loved ones, from ALL nations, in military conflict.

One of the aims for Remembrance via MS RED is what we call "Active Remembrance". This means that we would be honoured to speak to any Mid Sussex resident who served, in any capacity, in any military conflict.

As a medium to long term research project - MS RED aspires to compile a collection of these memories to update and enrich our exhibitions & presentations, with the potential of publishing this oral history at a later date.

If you would like to share your story or the story of a relative with us, for the benefit of the wider community, then please contact us on admin@midsussexred.co.uk . THANK YOU.
